Happiness
C.S. Lewis wrote that, “God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.” And I’m grateful for this period in my life where I’m constantly learning that true happiness and peace can only be found in God. I mean, friends are constantly walking in and out of my life and during this time of stress from school, future decisions, and family the only thing that remains solid is Christ. It took some reevaluating for me to realize this because it’s much easier to just pretend like everything is okay. At some point in our lives, we have to be honest with ourselves. Are you really happy with the way your life is? Does something feel like it’s missing? The empty void in our lives is the longing of our soul for something greater.

This is exactly what I’m doing. Realizing that I’m not happy and changing whatever God tells me to change.
